HalfAgain Dot Com For Sale On Flippa!

Written By Ben Johnson on 19 March 2010 8 People Commented

Update:  I would like to provide a couple of updates to this post for a couple of reasons. Firstly to apologise to the guys at HalfAgain for any bad feeling caused by my post below, as I can see how some of my comments may have been taken to cause offence. The comments weren't mean to come across as they did and after reflection and a lengthy discussion with Omar at HalfAgain I would like to retract my comments.

The second reason I wanted to provide an update was to give you more information on why they guys at Half Again decided to try and raise some cash from their business. I had a long email conversation with Omar at HalfAgain and essentially what they were looking for, and may still be looking for, is a partner who could potentially manage the marketing side of HalfAgain, allowing them to free up their time and put their effort into more mainstream projects. They have developed some great products which are stable and just require marketing, really it's a "no brainer" as to why they would have tried to take on a partner.

End Update

Okay so this was one I guess I didn't really expect, I was in the middle of writing my final Flippa post in the Fliptastic series and doing my usual daily browse around Flippa and found this ...Half Again.com, the creators of StoreStacker, BlogProftiz and many other products in the niche site building arena. They are looking for offers around $200,000 or other 'deals' can be negotiated. Will they really achieve their asking price? I don't really know but I'll certainly be watching with interest.

Auction can be seen here!

If I had that kind of cash, I don’t think I’d buy a website, probably get more out of just a nice niche-keyword domain name.

I heard that the owners of s e x .com are in bankruptcy. Someone might get a steal on that name.

I don’t think there is any reason to be paranoid. If they’ve netted over a million (as the auction description says), they could just possibly be tired of coming up with new products, taking care of customer service, etc. and want to focus on something else. Think of how much Adam and Kelvin have made over the last few years, should be in the same range.

That being said, I’m kind of surprised to see it on there too. Maybe it’s one of those where if they get what they want for it, they’ll sell and if they don’t, they’ll keep it. Hard to say, but it will be interesting to see how it ends.

I kind of got that feeling, I think they will also consider partners, I think they are trying to release some of their capital from it while they can, that’s fair enough.

Yes, i’m a little surprised about the NSB network to be honest, it’s getting v.quiet around there now, not that I go there much any more for various reasons (or people).

    Ben,
Thanks for this entire site flipping series. I’ve been thinking about doing this for a while and you’ve helped quite a bit. Please keep us updated on any actual flipping that you end up doing and how it works out for you.
