Creating FREE Logos For Your Websites

Written By Ben Johnson on 21 July 2010 8 People Commented

My apologies for the lack of posting recently, I haven't disappeared I've just been pretty busy with other aspects of my business which have been taking me away from the blog, I'm going to try my best to get back to posting here more regularly.

I just wanted to do a quick post today about a tool which I've found useful myself in the past when I didn't have access to image editing programs like Macromedia Fireworks and Adobe Photoshop, both of which can be quite costly if you only need them for creating website logos.

The tool is an online editor which enables you to create pretty cool looking logos/graphics for your affiliate websites, it's completely free to use and doesn't require you to download or signup for anything. The tool has some pretty advanced functions considering it's free and best of all it's pretty simple to use  once you've had a bit of a play around with it.

Of course, the way the logo looks isn't likely to give you more visitors and make you more money but I know how much happier I feel about my websites when they look good.

You can access the free image editing tool right here, they also have some other free tools available including a color grabber and photo editor. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Isn’t it just, it doesn’t pretty much everything that tools like Fireworks will do (for logo creation) and it’s free. I still use it from time to time myself if I’m working away from home and don’t have my own laptop with me.

Thanks for another great tip. I use Logo Creator by Laughingbird all the time for logos and banners and it is very cheap. I will check this one out on the next road trip.

I used to own a couple of their tools and suffered a hard drive loss (in the days when I ddn’t bother to back up) and I’ve never bother to actually re-download. They have some good tools though.

Free software is always welcome Ben, thanks for this link. I’ve got Photoshop but I don’t find it very easy to use, I shall give your suggestion a try if it’s easier.

Keep up the good work. 8)

    Hey John,

No problem at all, photoshop does take quite a big of getting used to, I am still more of a Fireworks man myself. This is a great tool for ease of use though.
