Written By Ben Johnson on 25 August 2010 9 People Commented

I just wanted to send out this quick post to let you know that Godaddy is offering .com domain registrations (and transfers) for just $0.99 plus fees ($0.18), that's a .com domain fojust $1.17.

The coupon code you need is SCHOOL99, the coupon code is good for one domain per user and will work only with the .com domain extensions.

It’s not bad, shame it’s only one per customer but I’m happy to save $9 any day!

Good stuff, Junior, glad you got that sorted. :)

    Hi Ben,

Just an FYI for you, the code you provided didn’t work.

I entered school99 at godaddy but the promotion code box results stated that it’s invalid or expired as of today’s date 8/31/10.

Do you have another valid, working code?

    Thanks.

    Hi Sunshine,

The code did work but they may have stopped it today, were you using a credit card?

    Hiya Ben,

    Thanks for the update.

Unfortunately, I did not proceed to pay with my credit card once the promo code that I entered displayed an invalid message along with the regular price point of $11.44. I’m used to the discount being applied and showing before I enter my credit card info.

Has their system changed? I’ve had an account with Godaddy for many years but may have missed something.

No problem, I catch the next one.

    Thanks again.

Not as far as I know, I used the code to purchase a domain a couple of days ago and it worked fine, maybe they ended it yesterday. I’ll post again if any more come up :)
