Great post for me right now - just reading Ewen Chia's new book and the importance of keywords + original content is starting to percolate through my consciousness. Your blog looks very professional, and you've got a lot going on,but couldn't find opt-in box. Would like to keep an eye on your blog as my tech understanding increases, but a bit over my head right now.

cheers JJ

It's actually amazing the amount of people who don't understand or appreciate the importance of good unique content. I would say that the majority of people who attempt to build a decent affiliate site will initially go through the same stages as you have mentioned.

People usually get it very right or very very wrong.

I have been saying content is king for so long I almost thought I coined the phrase. Okay not really but I have been saying content is king since I started my online business.

I remember two of the web design clients I have that made me laugh. The first one wanted his site to go to the top in his niche but he didn't want to put any content on his site in case he offended someone. It took a while to convince him that in order for content to be king he had to actually have some.

The other didn't quite get what I was telling him about content is king and keyword density. So he went home and created content for his main page. Every paragraph had every one of his keywords in it.

Basically it was unreadable by most humans. Once I explained it all again, doing a better job at explaining he got it and we both had a great laugh.
