For those of you who have not heard of it yet I am pretty sure you will, this is going to become a very popular product. I have been on the waiting list for ages anticipating the launch of the ReviewAzon plugin for Wordpress. I finally had my chance to buy and download it today and have spent the last 8 hours messing around with it, trying out it's many functions and thinking of different ways to use it. Overall I have to say I love it.

The first thing to say about the plugin is that it essentially does nothing you can't do yourself but it will save you hours upon hours of work putting together a review site. I have already begun to put a site together on a domain which I had lying about doing nothing. I wanted to test the plugin to see what sort of results I got on a new site rather than going straight to an 'already live' site. You can see the site right here:

The site has taken me around an hour or two to put together, mainly because I was messing with all of the options to get it exactly how I wanted it. I will most probably make more changes to the theme as I go along but I think you will get the idea from seeing what I have done so far.

Main Features of ReviewAzon
The plugin has many features which you can choose to or not to use, the choice is completely yours, the main ones include:

• Ability to pull full product details, descriptions and customer reviews from Amazon with a single keyword and create posts/pages.

• Choose to show up to 6 Amazon widgets in your sidebar which include similar Amazon products to your item displayed in the post, featured Amazon products, Amazon products by brand, related Amazon accessories & Amazon products by price range.

• Choose to show eBay items either in the product post/page or as a widget using the seamless integration of phpBay Pro and phpBay Lite with ReviewAzon, listings are returned based on your product post/page.

• Ability to cache and modify the product excerpt and product description to avoid duplicate content.

• Full template control over all possible variations.

• Add single product posts one at a time or add bulk posts with the ability of scheduling and random posting within a time frame that you specify.

• Many more !!!

My Personal Thoughts
In my opinion this plugin should not replace all of the work you do on the main body of the site, in other words this plugin should not be used for just posting automatic posts of duplicate content on autopilot. The best way to use this plugin will be to make the review site building process easier but it shouldn't completely automate it.

How I will be using the plugin
As you can see from my test site I have set it up and got the basic settings how I want them, I am now going to pull 20 or 30 product detail/reviews from Amazon using the plugin and then schedule them to post automatically over the next month or so. But what I will be doing in the meantime is re-writing and adding content to the posts which have been created by the plugin along with ammending the titles of each post. What I don't want to do is create a site which is basically an exact copy of Amazon, one of the Worlds biggest online marketplaces. This is a similar strategy I have used with another site I have but in that instance I didn't have this plugin to make my life easier.

My Favourite Features of the Plugin
I love the plugin overall but there are three main features which I love the most.

The first is the ability to ammend and create my own products descriptions and product details, I don't have to just go along with what is pulled in from Amazon.

The second is the fact that you can promote both eBay and Amazon at the same time meaning you are twice as likely to get a commission and giving your visitors double the choice.

The third and last feature is the templating system. The templates give you so much freedom in the way that you display your product detail, you can literally remove or add in any of the parameters you choose and completely change what you show in your posts. The downside is that for a newbie the templating system is not that easy to use, I can imagine that someone with little or no html knowledge or familiarity will be restricted by the templating system. However the user manual is very comprehensive and clearly written along with having access to the support forum where Brad is extremly helpful.

Would I recommend this plugin
For my regular readers you know that I only ever recommend products to you that I use myself, I don't recommend products just for commission. In this instance, from the experience I have had so far, I would be more than happy to recommend this product to any of my readers.
