@The Almost Millionaire

I know what you mean, sometimes I wonder what I've been doing online when 4 hours passes but it soon makes up for itself in the long run.

Cheers

Great post...my wife is always wondering what the heck I'm doing online all the time...drives her nuts most of the time. No complaints though when we are cashing checks :)
Keep the love!

Hi Jay and Mandy,

Thanks for your comments, it's nice to know that Ben and I aren't the only one's to disagree about the time he spends working. But it is definitely important to do your work in moderation!

Just remember, regardless of how important your work is, your family is more important, but equally they need to support you. The next post is aimed at your partners so hopefully that will help them to understand your point of view.

Ben still disappears off to 'check his emails' and I know full well he'll be gone for hours, I guess it's just something I have to put up with :)

@Mandy

Thanks for that, I just wanted people to understand that although it is possible to make a good living online but it should never be at the price of the people you care about.

@Jay

Your absolutely correct, it's so very easy to be obessive about it especially if you enjoy it which I know you do and I know I do.

I always sneak off to do work which I have had to be a little more strict about.

Wow, Ben sounds just like me.

My wife gets a little ticked off when I "sneak away" to do some quick tweaks or marketing of my niche sites. Funny how once I started showing her how much I was making, she's more supportive. LOL

I can easily get obsessive about this because it's what I love to do and wish I could do it as a career. That's my ultimate goal. But as with all things I know it should be done in moderation. But what I know and what I do are usually two different things.

Cheers!
