It’s Competition Time: Get the phpBay Plugin OR API Completely FREE!

Published on 1st July 2009

Last Month's Winner: Ian Ambler

Firstly I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who entered the competition for June, I had almost 200 entries which was fantastic, I am happy to announce that the winner of the FREE ReviewAZON plugin for Wordpress and ReviewAZON101 Video course was Ian Ambler. Your FREE plugin and video course will be on it's way to you shortly, Ian.

This months competition still centers around the theme of Affiliate website development except this months prize is going to allow you to build a Wordpress affiliate site in conjunction with the eBay affiliate program. This months sponsor is Wade Wells, he is the creator of the phpBay plugin and API as well as phpZON plugin and API. Up for grabs is a copy of the phpBay plugin for Wordpress OR a copy of the phpBay API, all you need to do is answer this months question correctly and I will choose, at random, one winner at the end of July.

About the phpBay Plugin

The phpBay plugin is one of my favorite plugins which enables me to earn a good chunk of my affiliate earnings online using Wordpress and the eBay Partner Network.

phpBay is a simple and easy to use plugin which allows you to display live eBay listings directly inside the posts or pages of your Wordpress affiliate site. The listings will compliment your existing website content and encourage your customers to buy items related to your site through your affiliate links. Each time someone purchases a product through your link you will earn a commission, better still if someone signs up with a new account on eBay then you receive a bonus of up to $50 each time.

This plugin has received nothing but great reviews across the internet, Wade Wells still heavily supports the product and maintains it through the members only forum where you can get advice and guidenace from other friendly phpBay users.

About the phpBay API

The phpBay API does exactly what the phpBay plugin does except it is designed to be used with php based websites other than Wordpress. The API isn't for beginners and it is recommended you have some sort of php knowledge if you are going to attempt to use it.

You can read more about phpBay here.

This months question will be based on an event which took place 40 years ago this year, the first time humans set foot on the moon. So without further delay here is the question:

Which Apollo space mission was the first to successfully put a man on the moon?

This competition is now closed, thanks for looking!

A winner will be selected at random using a Wordpress competition plugin, the winner will be announced at the end of July and notification made by email so please make sure you use a valid email when you enter. Your email address will be used for no other purpose other than this months competition entry.

Best of Luck!

I remember that landing, shortly before I started Kindergarten. We didn’t have a TV set at the time but went to someone else’s house to watch it. I thought by the time I grew up, we would all be taking space flights to the moon for vacations. Thanks for the opportunity to win one of the plugins. I am shooting for the stars!

  4. Ben Johnson says:

    @Dana –

Unfortunately I wasn’t born then but in a way I wish I was just to have seen it.

Good luck and thanks for entering.

    Ben
