@Cherie – I know what you mean, the cookie time tended to put a lot of affiliates off, or at least it put eBay affiliates off. I’ve started to do a lot more work with Amazon lately and it’s slowly starting to pay off. As always, just as case of experimenting with different models and methods and repeating what works.

@Rochelle – It’s basically just another way of getting the top releases from Amazon but most of these new releases are often un-touched and usuaully do very well.

Yes, I have been reading the newsletter, mainly because I’ve got nervous of eBay, previously I didn’t take a lot of notice of Amazon because of that cookie time. I have done Squidoo for some time now, can be hit and miss but as you say, if you create a very tightly focussed lens you can make money, same goes for Hubpages.

It’s just another way of generating a little cash for free with a little work, contrary to what some people believe Squidoo can still earn you money IF you choose the right keywords.

interesting idea. I recently had the idea of using Squidoo lenses to sell affiliate products and to also generate links. I might have to sign up for the newsletter.
