View EPN Commissions In WordPress

Published on 6th October 2008

I just got an email from Alan Lewis, the creator of the phpBay search 2 post plugin for wordpress. The email was to let me know he had released a new wordpress plugin which displays many of your EPN stats directly in your WordPress admin panel. This plugin, known as Piggy Bank, is not just for phpBay sites ... it will work for anyone that has WordPress and an EPN affiliate account so is great for BANS users as well.

Installing the plugin:
Installing it is easy, its just the same as any other simple plugin. Upload the files to your plugin directory, activate it and then add your EPN details along with the dates you wish to display and thats it. The plugin will display up to 65 days of information between one period and the next which you specify in the Piggy Bank configuration options.

Requirements:
In order for the plugin to work you must have;
1) WordPress 2.5.1 or greater
2) An EPN account
3) A server with cURL installed

Piggy Bank Data
The plugin splits the data which it displays into 4 main sections:

Section 1: Shows your current affiliate earnings for that month in red.

Section 2: Shows a graph of the daily total eBay sales (not commission) over a period of 65 days which you have already specified.

Section 3: For me this is the best section, it is split up into 7 columns and gives you the following info:
Reported Date- The date which the transaction is reported in your EPN account.
Campaign ID- This is your specific campaign ID's displayed for your stores.
Campaign Name- This is the campaign name which you enter when you set up your EPN campaign.
Program- This tells you which eBay program you made the sale in e.g. US,UK,AU etc.
Sale Amount- This tells you how much the item sold for.
eBay Commission- This shows you how much commission you made from that sale.
eBay Item Number- This displays a clickable item number to the item which sold through your link so     you can easily go through and view the item without having to download a transaction report (great to use as a tool to find new niches).

Section 4:
In this section you can see your ACRU's for the date range that you entered along with the campaign ID they were specific to along with any items which were also purchased.

All in all I think its a great plugin, it saves you time and makes your life a little easier to see what commissions you made and how you made them. If you want to get the plugin then simply visit Alan's plugin page at:
