I just wanted to make a quick interruption to the Fliptactics series today to let you know that I have implemented a few minor changes in the blog which you may or may not have seen over the last couple of days, which is why at times the blog theme has been doing some pretty funky things in the way of layout and formatting.

Problems Fixed!

There were some layout issues with my head and navigation menu right here on the blog and across the Affiliate Wizard website if you tried to view any of the sites in a high resolution, you'll be pleased to know that I finally got my act together and this is now fixed. I just wanted to make this quick post to let you know I have upgraded my support desk today to Kayako eSupport which is a far more robust system than the free one I was previously using. But why am I telling you this? Well many of you who frequently use my support desk to contact either myself or a member of my customer support will have had to register an account to login and send a ticket, since I have changed the desk your login details will no longer be valid. But you don't need to worry about this because I have set the desk up so you don't HAVE to register if you want to contact me, simply head over to the support area and click on the 'Submit Ticket' link. I'd be more than happy to recieve a test ticket or two!

Was the upgrade really neccesary? It certainly was! I have a few new products I'm currently working on , that I know you are going to love, which I'm planning to release in the early part of this year and I always strive to provide the best customer support possible. ePN have recently made some big changes to their RSS feed links and this has resulted in broken cloaked/SEO friendly links to eBay. It's not really a shock that this issue hasn't been properly communicated throughout the eBay community or with third party developers. It just re-inforces my beleif that most big corporations have a VERY BIG issue with communication.

Anyway, rant aside, make sure you check your ePN cloaked links on ALL of your sites. At the moment it's only my BANS sites which are having issues and so I have turned cloaked links OFF, my phpBay sites seem to be okay and I'm sure Wade will be onto the issue in any case.

UPDATE: After spending some time going through the Shoemoney System Sales page AND seeing the monthly price I will NOT be investing - Links removed!

I would imagine 99% of you have heard of Shoemoney.com and Jeremy Shoemaker. If you haven't already heard he will be releasing his new Shoemoney System to the world tomorrow around 2pm.

Shoemoney's story really is one of rags to riches and he went from being overweight and unemployed to building and running a successful multi million dollar business. But don't let that influence your decision on whether you invest in the Shoemoney system or not, I'll tell you now that this system won't make you rich over night. I got this email through today which informs us that The Niche Site Building Network (AKA Build A Niche Store & N1Way etc) WILL be going up for sale after all. It looks like Adam and Kelvin have decided to move on and branch out into wider projects which aren't limited to Affiliate Website development.

At the end of 2008 I sat down and decided that by the end of 2009 I would have built up my online business enough to leave my full time job in the National Health Service. In October 2009 I achieved that goal and left my 'day job' to start running my online business on a full time basis. As you will notice by the date of my last post it has been around 3 weeks since I posted here and the main reason for that is really because I have been so busy preparing a new and exciting product for release very very soon. Testing, tweaking and simply putting this product through its paces has literally taken up the last month of my working and none working life but it’s certainly been worth it.

So what product am I talking about then? I'm going to start off by actually apologizing before I even get going, this post isn't meant to be a rant but if it becomes one then I'm sorry in advance.

Does anyone else think that trying to find a decent domain name for any niche related website is becoming increasingly difficult. Personally when I'm choosing a domain name(s) I like to get the DOT com extension where possible and preferably it should contain my main site 'theme' key phrase which I aim to rank the front page for. If my main key phrase is a short one and maybe two words long then I may have to place another word either in front of or behind my main key phrase, this is all very well but what if it's not available. Lately with most of the new niches I have discovered it has been the case that the DOT com has inf act been taken and short of hyphening the hell of it or adding several random words to the end there is no chance of me acquiring a decent DOT com.
